This Friday, Nov. 4 at 4 p.m., MacCracken Market will be hosting a free Taste Testing event with produce fresh from Miami University’s Institute for Food Farm! The event is open to all and will go until they run out of food.
Featured recipes include a veggie medley consisting of potatoes, squash, onions and peppers, as well as a salad mix featuring lettuce, spinach, and carrots.
The event is being hosted by the Synthesis and Action course of the Western Program (WST 341). The class chose to support the Institute for Food this semester, focusing on educating students and staff about the Farm’s work and the availability of organic/local produce on campus at MacCracken Market.
This event is a great way to enjoy some delicious local veggies as well as learn about Miami’s new farm! Hope to see you there!
